To properly fill your lighter, follow these steps: First, release all tank pressure and excess air by holding the lighter upside down and gently pressing on the inlet valve with a XIKAR Tune Up Tool (not included). Second, hold the refill can upside down so the butane can go to the bottom and the propellant rises to the top, pushing the butane out. Avoid shaking the refill can. Third, put the nozzle of the refill can in the valve then press and hold to fill the lighter. Wait for 5 minutes before using the lighter to stabilize and warm up.
